Another error riden display cost us dearly as we went down to league new boys Formartine today.

We had our chances to score early especially Stuart Leslie who should have done better with a point blank header which went straight at the keeper.

Gordie morrison came close with a lob which just missed the far post as we looked the more likely to score but it was Formartine who were looking dangerous coming forward who struck first when a Michael Fyfe free kick was missed by keeper Hastie and Stuart Cumming was on hand to head home into an open goal.

Eight minutes later we went two down when Stuart Mackay found space in the box to fire into the corner of the net. We were trying har dto get back into the game but the combination of good defending and poor finishing let us down.

Michael Fyfe came close with a free kick which Hastie saved and the same player came even closer minutes later when he curled the ball past Hastie but saw it come back of the post.

Gordie Morrison thought he scored on the half hour mark when he beat the keeper to a high ball to head home but the referee called a foul although the assistant referee seemed to give it.

Alan Pollock tested the keeper next but he saved down to his right before Gordie Morrison was just wide with a free kick. Gordie again came close but his shot from the d just rose over the bar.

Then on the hour Formartine wrapped the game up when a header bounced back of the top of the crossbar and it really should have been cleared but Ross Forsyth came in to blast home from close range

Mark kennedy scored late on after a mix up in the Formartine defence but it was too little too late.

Another disappointing defeat with defensive errors costing us on the day, Going forward we looked a threat but on Saturday we just didnt get that break at the right time.
