In a windswept dungeon park it was Brora with the wind at there backs that took the game to Clach and putting the defence under early pressure. Keeper David Harrison had to look lively a few times but could only look on as twice the ball was kicked off the goal line.
We took a while to settle into the game but gradually managed to get some attacks together with John MacCaskill coming closest with a header that just went past. Both teams were finding it hard to play good football in the wind and apart from early Brora pressure neither keeper had to make a decent save.

We started the second half getting plenty of the ball and putting the Brora team under pressure for the first time in the match, but it took a long kick out from keeper Harrison to help break the deadlock when his wind assisted kick took one bounce before being met by Gordie Morrison who hit it first time high over keeper McCallum and into the corner of the net.
We seemed to dominate the game restricting Brora to the odd breakaway and it came as no surprise when Scott Davidson rose at the far post to put us two goals to the good.
Brora seemed resigned to defeat now and with five minutes left ex Clacher Mark Mckernie pulled down Gordie Morrison inside the box and he dusted himself down before sending keeper McCallum the wrong way for his second and Clachs third goal of the day.
